Culinary experiences in Manchester

The "Printworks" in Manchester, England, is not a single restaurant in the traditional sense, but a vibrant entertainment and dining complex that brings together a variety of restaurants, bars, and leisure activities under one roof. Located in the heart of the city, Printworks has established itself as a central hub for culinary experiences and social gatherings. Originally a printing house, the building underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2000 and is now a modern meeting place that combines tradition with contemporary flair. Particularly striking is the huge digital ceiling, one of the largest in Europe, which enhances the ambiance with impressive visual effects.

Restaurants and bars in Manchester

The culinary diversity at Printworks is impressive and caters to a wide range of tastes. One of the highlights is the offering at "Wagamama", where Asian-inspired dishes like the spicy "Firecracker Chicken" served with rice are served – a dish that impresses with its heat and flavor complexity. Equally popular is "Nando’s", known for its juicy PERi-PERi seasoned chicken wings that offer a perfect balance of smokiness and heat. For lovers of American classics, "Hard Rock Cafe" offers the famous "Legendary Burgers", which promise a true comfort experience with their generous sides and intense flavor. These dishes are just a small sample of the wide range, which ranges from quick snacks to hearty meals.

In addition to international chains, there are also options for those looking for a casual pub atmosphere. "O’Neill’s" serves hearty Irish dishes, including a delicious "Guinness Pie" where tender meat is refined in a rich sauce with a hint of stout. For those who prefer a more relaxed and sporty atmosphere, "Tank & Paddle" offers a laid-back environment with delicious pizzas, freshly prepared and perfect for an evening with friends. For those with a sweet tooth, "Chiquito" entices with tempting desserts like the "Churro Sundae", a combination of crispy churros and creamy ice cream.

Family-friendly atmosphere at Printworks

The atmosphere at Printworks is versatile and dynamic. The restaurants are designed to cater to families, groups of friends, or couples alike. Many offer open kitchens that provide a glimpse behind the scenes, while the wide range of seating – from long communal tables to cozy nooks – creates flexibility. Of particular note is the integration of entertainment and dining: Many venues show live sports broadcasts or offer music, such as the "Hard Rock Cafe" with its regular live performances. This combination makes Printworks a place where you not only eat, but enjoy a complete experience.

International cuisine at Printworks

The drink selection is also remarkable. From creative cocktails – such as a fruity "2-for-1" offer at "Frankie & Benny’s" – to a wide selection of draft beers at "Walkabout", every thirst is quenched here. The bars are often meeting points for visitors who want to enjoy a drink before or after watching a movie at the IMAX cinema on site or playing a round of mini golf. Printworks places a focus on a family-friendly atmosphere, highlighted by offerings such as kids' menus and a covered play area.

With recliner seats, so can relax and enjoy films, with enough leg room... tad overpriced now, went from £6 before Covid, to £10, not it's hitting £12-£15 for a good seat... if it's something you really want to watch, then yeah, good to past a few hours on a big screen in comfort

It is not a hotel, it is bars/ resteraunts etc. Went to cinema in the centre. There is also other stuff, different leisure activities, Easy to access, near Victoria train stn, shude Hill bus station/ tram stop. Can be busy inside and security at entrances in the evenings but did not feel unsafe.

The print work is good however I feel a lot of teens hang around, it’s annoying and takes away from visiting this cinema; especially when little teens mess around inside. The photo booth which we used a month prior is broken and that’s probably because teens have messed around inside and broke the machine and it’s new which is a shame. The payment part is ripped out. Lifts only available by asking a staff member which is annoying especially if the film is on a higher floor. Makes you feel a little uncomfortable when you don’t have a visible disability but would like to use the lift without asking. When we leave the cinema, staff are stood by the front with a bin bag which no other cinema does, a little awkward.
